Hey there! Have you heard the latest news about WhatsApp’s new safety feature? It’s all about protecting you from scams and potential risks while using the app.
Stay Safe with WhatsApp’s New Safety Overview
Meta, the company behind WhatsApp, is introducing a “safety overview” card to help you navigate group conversations safely. This card will give you anti-scam tips and remind you of privacy settings to manage who can add you to groups.
When someone not in your contacts adds you to a group, you’ll receive an alert with helpful tips on how to stay safe. You can choose to exit the group immediately or see the chat before deciding.
Don’t worry about constant notifications – WhatsApp will keep the group notifications silent until you confirm your stay in the group.
Meta is also working on ways to protect you from spam and unknown numbers on WhatsApp, giving you more control over your chats.
Protect Yourself from WhatsApp Scams
While WhatsApp has introduced several security features over the years, scammers still target users with malicious activities. Stay vigilant and apply safety tips to safeguard your chats from online threats.
