ToolShell attacks hit organizations worldwide

Did you know that cybercriminals and APT groups are taking advantage of ToolShell bugs, with the US bearing the brunt of 13 percent of all attacks?

The ESET research team has uncovered the exploitation of zero-day vulnerabilities, CVE-2025-53770 and CVE‑2025‑53771, in on-premises Microsoft SharePoint servers known as ToolShell. Their data reveals that these attacks have impacted victims worldwide, with the US being the primary target at 13.3%.
