This week, ESET researchers uncovered a zero-day exploit available on underground forums that specifically targets the Android version of the Telegram app. Named “EvilVideo”, this vulnerability was used to spread malicious files disguised as videos. Telegram promptly addressed the issue by releasing an app update on July 11th, 2024.
